Stress Urinary Incontinence and Urodynamics

Voiding Dysfunction is a clinical problem which affects both genders in all age groups. Urinary incontinence in Females is a major problem and advances in both medical management for Overactive Bladder and mid-urethral slings for Stress Urinary Incontinence are taking place rapidly. LUTS is now considered the standard symptom complex to define bladder outlet problems due to varied etiology with new insights into the Pathophysiology and emerging trends in its management. This three day course will offer basic understanding of the current concepts in Voiding Dysfunction in all age groups. The course aims to offer a thorough knowledge of Voiding Dysfunction in all age groups. The course aims to offer a thorough knowledge of Voiding Dysfunction and the role of Urodynamics in management. Live demonstration of Urodynamics in dedicated centers will be an integral part of this course. Skills to perform minimally invasive surgery for Stress Urinary Incontinence will be imparted in the simulation lab on pelvic floor models. Simulators for endoscopic surgery for BPH will also be utilized for participants in the simulation labs.
